Puzzle Parcel
Accessibility
Puzzle Parcel aims to make setup and navigation keyboard-readable, but visual jigsaw play has inherent accessibility limits.
Controls and structure
Form fields have visible labels, buttons use native controls and major regions include accessible names. Text and control contrast are designed for light-mode readability. The smaller Tile Swap, Sliding Puzzle and Mosaic Reveal modes can be easier than free dragging for some users.
Current limitations
The main curved jigsaw depends heavily on visual recognition, precise pointer movement and spatial positioning. Loose board pieces are not yet fully movable with keyboard commands, and screen readers cannot interpret the image content or shape relationships automatically.
Motion and zoom
The interface does not use decorative continuous animation. Users control zoom and panning. Browser-level page zoom remains available, but extremely large text settings can reduce the visible puzzle workspace.
Alternative approaches
- Use a low piece count and keep the ghost image enabled.
- Use Tile Swap, which requires selecting two tiles rather than dragging.
- Use Mosaic Reveal for a tap-only interaction.
- Use a larger display or external pointing device when possible.
